The temperature / series is designated by the first digit following the dashin thepart number.e.g.600-seriesis STTC/SMTC-0xxx,700-seriesisSTTC/SMTC-1xxxand800-seriesisSTTC/SMTC-8xxx.Metcal recommends the700-series for the majority of applications.The 600-series for light load or low temperature applications,800-series for high temperature and thermallydem anding applications.Canbeusedwithleadedandlead-freesolder.TheMetcal"SmartHeat®-Technology"automatically adjusts power levels during each solderingoperation.
