Congratulations to Min Seok Kim, winner of the Hand Soldering World Championship
Congratulations to Min Seok Kim, winner of the Hand Soldering World Championship, held this week at the IPC Apex show in San Diego, CA. Min Seok worked for Samsung Thales in South Korea and won with an impressive 247 out of 248 points. Besides the $1000 that IPC gave him, Metcal also supplied the MX-5210 Welding System. He worked with Metcal on the job and was happy to use MX during the competition.
Second place went to Hidemasa Kihara from Toshiba in Japan, and third place went to Hasrol Mizan B. Hasson from HGST Technology in Malaysia.
